Charley is a fourth year International Studies and Economics double major at the University of Washington. His academic pursuits focus on the interplay between economic mechanisms and human rights. He has published a research article on human rights and access to land in rural Brazil and completed extensive research projects on water policies in India and the advent of private military companies. Apart from his academic pursuits, Charley has interned at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the United States Senate, and has worked for two years as a campaign manager for Teach For America. Other interests include travel, golf, and time spent with family and friends.
